Aya was born in Osaka, Japan. After earning a BA at University of California Berkeley, she pursued an MFA in Animation and Digital Arts at USC. She works as a graphic designer and has a passion for the toy and animation industries.

Outside of her graphic design work, she enjoys drawing comics about her life and her cat, Pot. Also, she loves wrapping up in a blanket and watching anime on the weekend as a great way to unwind.
